The cost of the 3 week Board and Train Program is $3000* Heres how it works.
Week 1
In the first week, your dog acclimates to a new environment while learning foundational behaviors. We emphasize engagement and relationship-building, teaching your dog to earn rewards, which fosters a strong bond with the handler and encourages decision-making that benefits both the dog and owner.
Week 2
During the second week, we introduce essential verbal commands—sit, down, stay, heel, place, and come—ensuring your dog responds promptly. We incorporate leash pressure and remote collar techniques to reinforce these commands, facilitating effective communication between you and your dog. By teaching your dog to follow leash cues, we promote understanding and proper leash manners.
Week 3
Week 3 is the 'proofing' phase, where your dog's training is tested and reinforced in real-world settings. This crucial stage ensures your dog can perform commands and demonstrate good behavior in various environments, even around distractions like other dogs, people, or busy streets. Effective proofing guarantees that your dog’s training is practical and reliable outside the home.
*Dogs with a confirmed history of biting humans are required to complete a more intensive, extended version of our Board and Train program. During your consultation call, we’ll assess your dog’s behavior and determine the most appropriate training path.
